Weezer

Ok, so Weezer made a new album.
I got it yesterday and it is awesome. It looks awesome too.
The album is called ´hurley´, which is also the name of the guy on the cover.
He´s from the tv series Lost. I watched the entire 6 seasons of lost but I didn´t quite catch the ending.
Could anyone explain it to me? Have they been dead all that time or what?
